From Toronto, Canada, Viola grew up training as a dancer. She later fell in love with yoga and went to India to complete her 200h RYS yoga teacher training. Viola is well versed in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga. She has taught classes from the desert of Morocco, to the jungles of Costa Rica, to the mountains of Peru, to online in her living room. Her passion and creativity in movements have been praised by many students. Viola believes that through working on our own body and mind, we can gain better awareness and a more loving connection with the world around us.
Since 2011 I have travelled to India (the source of Yoga) three times to receive formal training + certificates in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Over the years, I have been greatly influenced by the western approach of thoughtful, varied, creative sequencing and intelligently building towards ‘peak’ or a more challenging pose in class. I have a passion for ’holding space’ for others to unwind both mentally and physically by guiding yoga like a moving meditation. My classes have been called a ‘dreamy experience’ with the use of poignant instruction, philosophical themes, breath-oriented movement, seamless transitions, pose-enhancing adjustments, and ambient soundscapes.
500 HR YTTC holder trained in Rishikesh, India, and specializing in ashtanga vinyasa, restorative, and yin. Based in Vancouver, Canada.
Mindful movement is what I’m all about. My intention is to offer guidance in breathing exercises and yoga flows that can be incorporated into your daily routines. When used as a wholistic practice, Yoga has some powerful healing capabilities for both the body and the mind. It all starts with creating the habit of showing up for yourself with love, respect, and understanding.
My yoga style is mainly about bringing more awareness to your body and accept yourself wherever you are with no judgment.
I'm a RYT-200 certified yoga instructor. Hatha and vinyasa are the main focus on my practice, and I love to get a sweat on! I also adore chatting about energy, spirituality and incorporate many grounding/energetic themes into my classes.
Welcome! My name is Jessica and I’m a mama of twin toddlers, a yoga instructor/therapist and meditation specialist. My intention is to offer mamas, (and anyone who is short on time!), short and sweet yoga sequences, breathing exercises and meditations that can be incorporated into everyday life. I will also be offering live classes and a way for moms to connect with themselves and other moms. I recently released a deck of yoga cards that teaches moms how to incorporate yoga into their regular daily routine. It’s been so well received that I have decided to create this virtual studio with Our Dharma to share it with you. I will also teach you how to use materials that you have at home for props, or you can purchase props or the Zen Mama Yoga Deck at www.zenmama.ca. If you have any suggestions as to what type of classes you’d like me to offer, please don’t hesitate to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I look forward to practicing with you. See you on the mat!
My name is Teodora Li. I am a dedicated yogi. I have been teaching meditation, yoga, and energy healing for over 5 years. I have worked through physical and mental obstacles using yogic techniques such as asana, breathwork, holistic lifestyle, and meditation. Besides my passion for yoga I have a master’s degree in Brand Management from the University of Denmark. I am a Yoga Instructor and Fitness Trainer. I have been taught how to master breathwork and energy healing practices by my spiritual teacher Chen Lao Shi from Taiwan, a Buddhist master with great compassion. With experience from both corporate and entrepreneurial worlds, I can relate to a wide scope of individuals. I am attentive and I love to cater to your specific needs so that you can heal and evolve on your own terms. You should expect a meditative atmosphere combined with the compassionate inquiry. My focus: I offer a deep meditative experience where anyone can connect to their inner self. Through breath, flow, and movement we can embrace and transform patterns and habitual behaviors that do not serve us. My teachings are based on mindfulness and are simple and easy to follow by anyone regardless of their belief system. I encourage sincerity, raw honesty towards oneself through my practices. My offerings: Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga asana, Kundalini. Spiritual and self-development topics.
I found yoga in my early teenage years and in the last decade, it has given me the privilege to ignite and honor my inner power, as well as cherish the connection I have with self and others. My goal as a teacher has always been to encourage exploration. My hope is that you remain curious of every sensation, the quality of every breath and every thought that flows in and out. The style of yoga I teach is a combination of vinyasa flow and longer held, meditative poses. Let's meet on the mat!
My passion lies in cultivating space for people to connect with each other and with themselves. Since 2012, I have been teaching yoga classes to all levels of practitioners in a variety of settings - from corporate offices to upscale yoga studios. Each class served as an opportunity to connect with students and to positively impact someone's day. The styes I teach include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative. Just like cooking, I view yoga as a continuous journey with many flavors, lessons and a lot of room for creativity! Here is what you can expect in my classes: clear alignment-based instruction, breathwork, suggestions to deepen your practice, and sometimes even live music!
When I was a kid dad told me “ If you do it with love you will never fail” Grown-up as a dancer switched to yoga. My practice is a mix of strength, precision, fun, and nourishment. Filled with passion, love, and smiles. My teaching style is very versatile and I don’t like to stick with just one, I love them all! My yoga background is in Ashtanga, I’ve taken my first TTC in India, my Master showed me how to teach with a mindful mind, he is a direct student of Iyengar, indeed when I don’t teach flowing stuff, alignments are my priority. We also spend many hours on the study of human anatomy and adjustments, to teach to my students' awareness of the body. My other TTC in Colombia was a Hata/Yin flow, my master showed me how to teach with an open heart. After that I’ve taken an advanced Vinyasa training in Thailand, my master showed me how to teach with a humble attitude. Everywhere I go I learn something magical and it is a treasure to me. Made in Italy, I’ve been living in Australia 6 years before the move to Canada for my Holistic Nutrition studies. I’ve traveled all over the world and when I travel I focus to check out the different yoga studios and teachers, there is always something to learn. Being curious and humble is the key! What makes me grow the most as a teacher and person are my students, I love questions, feedback and request so don’t be shy, we are all students of life and we never stop learning. I strive to do everything with love and my purpose is for you to leave class with a smile, feeling strong, nourished and grateful for life.
I am a movement lover and have explored movement in many different modalities including yoga, dance, acroyoga, gymnastics, and weightlifting. Through my experience working with the body I have found invaluable tools for emotional healing and spiritual wellbeing. I believe that wellness comes from body, mind, and spirit, and that healing and understanding these can help us find freedom and joy within. I want to share with you some of the tools that have helped me, so that in your own path you can find a little more peace, compassion, and vitality.

I am a CYT-200 with an additional certification in Yin yoga. I have healed my own chronic illness and found gentle movement to be integral to my healing, as well as my ongoing mental health and wellness. I have loved practicing yoga for over 20 years, and feel so blessed to be able to share the gift of this practice with others. I am also a certified Health Coach and Reiki Master, focusing on holistic health and wellness.
Before completing my Yoga Teacher Training, I fell in love with yoga from the source, India. I spent 3 months travelling from end to end before I landed in the Himalaya where I began attending class in an ashram behind my home. Although I left India shortly after, that was just the beginning of her yogic journey. Later, as I sunk into a month intensive training in 2017, I felt connection to the Divine and the nudge to keep exploring yogic pathways. I currently have 490 Hrs through Yoga Alliance, but as a day-day yogi, I have clocked many more. Trained in Hatha and Yin Yoga and Restorative, I bring a safeness and softness to both my strong Hatha, lengthening Yin, and Restorative classes.
I have been practicing yoga for the past 12 years after a transformative trip to India in 2008 and began teaching in 2011 when I decided to leave my office job and fully commit to living and sharing a yogic lifestyle. In recent years, I have focused my offerings on helping others to develop and maintain a home yoga practice tailored to their individual needs, and through this experience I have placed a greater emphasis on somatic and trauma-informed practices, as well as incorporating meditation and mindfulness into our yoga practices and everyday life. I see yoga as an act of love, a tool for deepening awareness and connecting to our true nature through the body and the breath. I can't wait to practice with you.
I see yoga as something akin to Love. It is a practice of uniting oneself with life over and over. It is a ritual experienced differently every time. It is a means to forget yourself and remember your true nature. As a girl I trained to be a ballerina & went on to perform as a dancer singer & actor. I have a passion for movement & breath; singing & dancing ; & many forms of meditation. On a philosophical level the ancient teachings of yoga have allowed me a deeper understanding of myself and a deeper connection to the world. The practices have given me relative peace of mind & physical vitality. I have been blessed with so many wonderful teachers in my pursuit of discovering yoga. I a m primarily trained as a Hatha yoga teacher through the Yandara Institute in Tados Santos Mexico. I am Level 1 400hr certified as an Ashtanga yoga teacher under the instruction of Caroline Klebl. I am 500hr Moksha hot yoga certified and have completed teacher training for Yin yoga with Stephanie Calhoun of Satori and Yoga Dance with Dan Levin of the Levin Institite. I completed my Level 1 200hr Kundalini Yoga teacher training under the instruction of Sat Dhuram Kaur. I truly feel that there is no end to what can be learned about and from Yoga. I served as a karma yogi at the Sivananda yoga ashram in the Bahamas and was also a TTC 200hr student & a yoga teacher for visitors to the ashram & the students of the TTC. I am devoted to seeking the truth & sharing my knowledge & experience of walking the path. "Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come." -Rumi
